Job summary

Enmarket is hiring Sales Associates to operate store shifts, deliver friendly customer service, and support daily store operations. You will greet customers, promote specials, and ensure accurate shift reporting while upholding safety and cleanliness standards.

The role requires ability to work flexible hours, handle cash, and verify IDs for tobacco/alcohol as required, with a focus on providing a warm, efficient customer experience.

Qualifications

• Read, understand, and write the English language at the eighth-grade level.
• Perform arithmetic calculations at the eighth-grade level to make change and complete shift reports.
• Ability to validate Identification prior to selling tobacco and/or alcohol as required.
• Can lift up to 30 pounds, and carry cases of milk and beverages using proper lifting techniques.
• Ability to remain calm and respond according to policies in emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Work a flexible schedule as needed.
• Interact with customers in a friendly, professional manner.
• Prepare a shift report at the end of the shift per guidelines.
• Greet every customer with a smile and sincere greeting.
• Suggest purchases and promote specials.
• Execute the customer service program at the store level.
• Maintain safety and appearance of the store and surroundings.
