Job summary

HouseMart in Honolulu is seeking a Part-Time Sales Associate to deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. You will help maintain clean, organized, and shoppable stores and assist customers with product knowledge and checkout.

The role requires flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Previous retail or cash-handling experience is preferred, and strong communication and teamwork are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Customer service, retail, and cash handling experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions.
• General knowledge and experience with computer systems and two-way radios.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service : Greets every customer and provides them with personalized assistance to ensure they have a positive experience in our stores.
• Store Visuals and Merchandising : Assists in setting up and breaking down regular, seasonal, and/or promotional displays. Regularly organizes and maintains presentation of merchandise.
• Sales and Product Knowledge : Builds customer loyalty through suggestive selling and product knowledge. Maintains knowledge on current and advertised store products.
• Inventory : Able to perform weekly physical counts of merchandise and efficiently handle all register transactions to maintain accurate inventory of products.
• Safety and Security : Works in a safe manner and actively practices prevention methods to protect yourself and others.
