Job summary

Ross Stores is seeking a Retail Associate to greet customers, assist with merchandise, and maintain a clean and organized store environment. You will interact with customers in a friendly, professional manner and support store leadership in daily operations.

Key responsibilities include guiding customers, handling transactions with accuracy, and upholding safety and presentation standards across departments.

Qualifications

• Effectively communicate with Customers, Associates and Store Leadership in a friendly, respectful, cooperative and pleasant manner.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.

Responsibilities

• Greets all Customers by making eye contact, smiles and says hello throughout the Store and assists with merchandise in a polite and knowledgeable manner.
• Provides prompt and efficient responses to Customer questions and issues, escalating to Store Leadership when needed.
• Maintains a clean, organized store by following company standards for merchandising, housekeeping and safety.
