Job summary

Marvin’s Demopolis store is seeking a part-time Sales Associate to provide outstanding customer service and help customers find the right products. You will greet customers, answer questions, and guide them through purchases, installations, and related services.

You will handle sales transactions, reflect product knowledge in recommendations, and keep shelves organized while supporting store promotions and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail sales or customer service.
• Strong math, reading, writing and speaking skills.
• Ability to lift and load merchandise up to 50 lbs and work with heights as needed.
• Basic knowledge of lumber or hardware is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and identify needs to recommend products.
• Provide product knowledge and guidance on installations.
• Handle sales counter tasks including orders, price lookups and POS usage.
• Assist with loading of items and stock shelves.
• Maintain clean, organized sales area and assist with promotions.
