Job summary

Marvin's Demopolis is seeking a friendly Sales Associate for a part-time, on-site role in Demopolis, AL. You will provide excellent customer service, help customers identify needs, and recommend products.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, processing sales and special orders at the POS, stocking shelves, and helping with store promos. Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred, and a high school diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous retail sales or customer service experience.
• Strong math, reading, writing, and speaking skills.
• Must be able to lift and load merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs and climb a ladder.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer entering the department with an open-ended question.
• Direct customers to the appropriate products for their needs.
• Enter sales orders and special orders using the point-of-sale system accurately.
• Assist in stock replenishment and merchandising per planograms.
• Provide product knowledge and help with installation-related questions.
