Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company in Owasso, OK is hiring for a cashier/customer service associate. You will handle checkout transactions, bag groceries, and assist customers with locating products while maintaining accuracy and a friendly attitude.

The role requires basic cash register knowledge, math skills, and the ability to learn new point-of-sale technology. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of cash register and tender policies.
• Able to learn new technology systems.
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Minimum age 16; certification where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure correct checkout totals by weighing, keying, and scanning items.
• Maintain accurate money count in register at all times.
• Greet customers and answer questions, locate and promote products.
• Promote enrollment in the Thank You Card program and assist sign up.
• Bag groceries properly and ensure items are grouped and not damaged.
• Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary front-end areas and compliant with safety procedures.
