Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Cashier for our Memphis area locations. You will greet guests, process transactions, balance cash, and deliver top-tier customer service in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with a team that values reliability and a positive attitude, and you may be asked to assist with opening and closing procedures and to maintain a clean, organized workspace throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• Basic math and counting skills required.
• Must be able to work independently with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate a register/POS and handle cash and credit card transactions.
• Greet and assist customers while anticipating their needs.
• Balance cash drawer, fill out cashier slip and make deposits.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures.
• Know merchandise to assist customers and process transactions accurately.
• Complete opening and closing procedures for the unit based on hours.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment during service and at shift end.
• Ensure product in location is stocked and replenish items as needed.
