Job summary

Aramark Corporation is seeking a cashier to join our team. You will operate a register, handle cash and credit card transactions, and provide outstanding customer service.

The role requires balancing the cash drawer, assisting customers, stocking merchandise, and following safety policies throughout shifts. The ideal candidate will have prior cash handling and customer service experience, basic math skills, and the ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• Basic math & counting skills required.
• Must be able to work independently with limited supervision.
• Complete Food Handler and Alcohol Service trainings as required by location.

Responsibilities

• Operate a register/POS and handle cash and credit card transactions.
• Greet and assist customers while anticipating needs.
• Balance cash drawer, fill out cashier slip, and make deposits as needed.
• Adhere to Aramark's cash handling policies and procedures.
• Know merchandise for sale to assist customers and process transactions accurately.
• Complete opening and closing procedures for the unit based on operating hours.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment during service and at the end of shift.
• Ensure product is stocked and replenished to appropriate levels during service.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
