We are seeking a Customer Service Associate/Delivery Driver to deliver excellent customer service and distribute products efficiently. You will represent our company professionally, aiming to enhance profitability and customer satisfaction. Strong communication skills and a welcoming demeanor are essential. Your role involves understanding client needs, explaining products and services, and recommending solutions. A positive attitude and prompt resolution of customer issues are key to success. Ultimately, you will ensure customer satisfaction and contribute to store profitability.
Responsibilities
- Engage customers proactively
- Greet and direct customers
- Provide accurate product, pricing, and service information
- Answer customer inquiries about products/services
- Compare prices and features to assist purchasing decisions
- Cross-sell products effectively
- Keep racks stocked
- Manage merchandise returns
- Coordinate with team for peak times
- Inform customers about discounts and offers
- Provide feedback to the Store Manager
- Stay updated on new products/services
- Deliver items to various addresses via different routes
- Follow established routes and schedules
- Load, unload, inspect, and operate delivery vehicle
- Seek customer feedback and resolve complaints
- Inform customers about new offerings
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety standards
- Prior outdoor supply industry experience preferred
- Must be comfortable on your feet and performing physical tasks (stooping, squatting, lifting above head)
- Comfortable operating and delivering in a commercial vehicle like an Isuzu NRR 650
- Customer-oriented with adaptive communication skills
- Effective multi-tasking and time management
- Basic math skills
- Capable of lifting 50-70 pounds
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Clean driving record

- Ability to operate forklifts and tractors (training available)
- Previous experience as a Customer Service or Sales Associate
- Knowledge of inventory procedures
