Job description

Pay range:

18.00 + DOE

We are seeking a Customer Service Associate/Delivery Driver to deliver excellent customer service and distribute products efficiently. You will represent our company professionally, aiming to enhance profitability and customer satisfaction. Strong communication skills and a welcoming demeanor are essential. Your role involves understanding client needs, explaining products and services, and recommending solutions. A positive attitude and prompt resolution of customer issues are key to success. Ultimately, you will ensure customer satisfaction and contribute to store profitability.

Responsibilities
  1. Engage customers proactively
  2. Greet and direct customers
  3. Provide accurate product, pricing, and service information
  4. Answer customer inquiries about products/services
  5. Compare prices and features to assist purchasing decisions
  6. Cross-sell products effectively
  7. Keep racks stocked
  8. Manage merchandise returns
  9. Coordinate with team for peak times
  10. Inform customers about discounts and offers
  11. Provide feedback to the Store Manager
  12. Stay updated on new products/services
  1. Deliver items to various addresses via different routes
  2. Follow established routes and schedules
  3. Load, unload, inspect, and operate delivery vehicle
  4. Seek customer feedback and resolve complaints
  5. Inform customers about new offerings
  6. Adhere to DOT regulations and safety standards
  1. Prior outdoor supply industry experience preferred
  2. Must be comfortable on your feet and performing physical tasks (stooping, squatting, lifting above head)
  3. Comfortable operating and delivering in a commercial vehicle like an Isuzu NRR 650
  4. Customer-oriented with adaptive communication skills
  5. Effective multi-tasking and time management
  6. Basic math skills
  7. Capable of lifting 50-70 pounds
  8. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  9. Ability to work in fast-paced environments
  1. Valid driver’s license
  2. Strong organizational and time management skills
  3. Clean driving record

Bonus Points:

  1. Bilingual in Spanish & English
  2. Ability to operate forklifts and tractors (training available)
  3. Previous experience as a Customer Service or Sales Associate
  4. Knowledge of inventory procedures
