Job summary

Columbus McKinnon Corporation in New York seeks a Customer Compliance Specialist to create and maintain customer accounts, process credits and returns, and collaborate with sales, customer service and other internal departments.

You will enter master data into ERP, support audits and compliance, respond to inquiries, and monitor portal access. Proficiency in Excel and Outlook is expected; SAP and Salesforce knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1-2+ years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Entrer customer master data into all ERP systems.
• Review customer master data regularly for consistency and accuracy.
• Interface with plant personnel, customer service, sales, and credit department on credit & returns requests.
• Enter CSCL’s into ERP system to define the situation and ensure details are documented.
• Handle access requests to Customer Portal and Compass.
• Review, analyze, and validate documentation to support audit compliance and ensure record accuracy.
• Process returns, credits, and warranty claims according to policies.
• Learn the organization’s products, services, and policies through training.
• Meet KPI targets to process customer data and credit turnaround times.
• Monitor Outlook mailboxes and respond to inquiries within timelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
