Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of two years of prior personal banking or teller experience with emphasis on customer service.
• Understanding basic knowledge of bank deposits, lending products, and services to open accounts or refer customers to specialists.
• Excellent customer service skills including verbal and written communication.
• Relationship building, collaboration and teamwork.
• Teller and systems training and new account opening.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the customer’s first point of contact, addressing total financial service needs and opportunities.
• Handles a broad range of basic to moderate banking activities: transaction processing, new account sales, customer servicing, referrals.
• Supports sales objectives by selling and cross-selling Bank products to expand and maintain relationships while processing transactions.
• Assists management with day-to-day transactions: approving transactions, preparing reports, researching and resolving issues, responding to inquiries.
• Complies with Bank policy and follows state and federal banking regulations; maintains security policies and client confidentiality.
