Job summary

West Coast Convenience is looking for team members across all levels to help operate our stations, greet customers, handle cash, stock shelves, and ensure a clean, safe store and car wash environment in Union City, CA.

We offer both full-time and part-time schedules across first, second, and third shifts, with opportunities to grow within the organization while upholding our core values of People, Teamwork, and Safety.

Qualifications

• Able to work a flexible schedule as needed.
• Strong verbal and written communication with management.
• Read, understand and write in English.
• Perform basic math including proper calculation of change.
• Ability to validate identification prior to selling tobacco/alcohol where required.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders.
• Remain calm and respond to emergencies per policies.
• Work in various temperature environments and tolerate gasoline fumes/ cleaners.

Responsibilities

• Manage the cash register during the shift, keeping money balanced and serving customers quickly and accurately.
• Stock products and maintain a clean, professional store appearance at all times.
• Provide prompt, courteous customer service to customers, vendors, and staff.
• Maintain a clean, customer-friendly environment in-store and surrounding areas.
• Troubleshoot and resolve car wash related issues as needed.
• Prepare shift reports according to company guidelines.
• Cross-sell and upsell store products to increase sales.
• Escalate high-priority issues to the manager when needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
