Job summary

Motion Industries in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Counter Sales Representative to provide first-class customer service at the counter, assist in servicing customers face-to-face, and apply product knowledge to help select the right hoses, thread configurations, and hydraulic components.

You will troubleshoot problems, build customer assemblies, work with the Solutions Center Manager and outside sales to grow the business, maintain safe shop practices, and contribute to a high-value, fast-paced

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, 0–3 years related experience.
• Ability to use hand tools and shop equipment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of hoses and thread configurations.
• Basic mechanical/technical inclination.
• Basic hydraulic knowledge.
• Experience in industrial sales.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer-focused with consultative selling approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-class customer service to local market.
• Assist customers face-to-face with product knowledge.
• Troubleshoot customer problems and offer solutions.
• Identify and build customer assemblies.
• Work with Solutions Center Manager and outside sales to grow the business.
• Maintain location with team and ensure safety guidelines.
• Foster relationships with customers and deliver value-added service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
