Job summary

Genuine Parts Company in Jacksonville, FL seeks a Counter Sales Representative to deliver quality customer service at a key retail location. You will assist customers face-to-face, apply product knowledge, and identify assembly needs while supporting sales goals.

Under close supervision, you will troubleshoot problems, maintain equipment awareness, and work with the Solutions Center Manager and outside sales to grow the business. A strong emphasis on service and safety is essential.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a high school diploma or GED and zero to three years of related experience or an equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Provide first class customer service to local market and supports location sales.
• Assist customers face-to-face through knowledge of products.
• Troubleshoot customer problems and provide creative solutions.
• Identify and build customer assemblies.
• Ensure knowledge of use of all equipment.
• Collaborate with Solutions Center Manager and outside sales group to grow the business.
• Assist in maintenance of the location and safety adherence.
• Maintain key relationships with customers and focus on service value.
