Job summary

CNRG is seeking a cashier associate to courteously process customer transactions, greet customers, and maintain product knowledge. You will verify prices, handle returns, and manage cash deposits while supporting a friendly shopping experience.

The role requires the ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. Training and benefits are provided by CNRG.

Qualifications

• Must be customer service-oriented and team-oriented with good communication skills.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and schedules, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Capable of handling cash, credit and checks with accuracy and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions in a friendly, accurate manner (credit cards, cash, checks).
• Greet customers entering and exiting, upholding a positive store impression.
• Verify merchandise quantities, descriptions and prices for accuracy at sale.
• Handle returns/exchanges and merchandise sales.
• Answer calls promptly and courteously.
• Manage deposits and drawer organization; count tenders and prepare daily reports.
