Lowe’s Bethlehem is seeking a friendly cashier to ensure every customer leaves with a positive experience at the register. You’ll provide quick, accurate checkout and help customers find value for their money.

Most work is at the register, with possible support in other areas such as stocking or cart movement; part-time role with growth opportunities and benefits. Bilingual skills are a plus and customer service experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic.
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• Minimally lift 10lbs unassisted or over 15lbs with or without accommodation.
• Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law in your state.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience
• Proactively assist customers in the self-checkout area
• Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently
• Manage a cash register, payments, and exchanges
• Answer customer questions
• Help maintain a clean, safe workstation
