Job summary

Preferred candidates have retail or customer service experience; bilingual abilities are a plus. The role may involve lifting and standing for long periods and working in varied conditions.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic required.
• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
• Experience using a computer or POS system is preferred.
• Must meet any sales-related licensure or registration if required by state.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience
• Proactively assist customers in the self-checkout area
• Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently
• Manage a cash register, payments, and exchanges
• Answer customer questions
• Help maintain a clean, safe workstation
