Carter Bank is seeking a Financial Services Representative in Bedford, VA to be the first point of contact for customers, guiding them through everyday banking needs with a proactive and personalized approach.

You will handle transactions, educate customers on self-service options, and route them to the right next steps while building lasting relationships to improve their financial well-being.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college a plus.
• Successful customer service and/or sales experience required
• Previous experience in a retail bank or related industry preferred
• Prior cash handling experience preferred

Responsabilités

• Process transactions and provide customer and account servicing; open new accounts and refer to partners.
• Deliver excellent customer experience through proactive engagement and meaningful conversation; identify needs and offer solutions.
• Generate referrals to branch associates, internal partners, and external vendors to support customer financial goals.
• Resolve basic or common account/customer issues and escalate unresolved items for further research.
• Adhere to processes and regulatory guidelines to support a well-run branch.
• Support the bank's strategic plan and growth of retail banking business.
• Meet or exceed sales goals through targeted activities and product recommendations.
• Invest in career development through training, coaching, and self-learning opportunities.
• Attend bank-sponsored events to boost visibility and acquire new customers
