HD Supply is seeking a Customer Service Associate in Illinois to respond to inquiries about product selection, services and issues. You will maintain knowledge of approximately 20,000 products across three catalogs and support the sales process.

In this role, you will handle orders and quotations via phone, email, and written correspondence, ensure timely follow-up, and research alternatives to meet customer needs while using our CRM to track information.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Responds to customer order and quotation requests via telephone, e-mail, and written/faxed correspondence.
• Performs follow-up to ensure service goals are met.
• Facilitates growth and sales by adhering to incentive programs and initiatives.
• Researches and suggests alternative products to customers.
• Uses computerized system for tracking, information gathering, and troubleshooting.
• Resolves customer issues including issuance of credit concessions.
• Refers complex, non-standard problems to supervisor.
