Job summary

Coleman Oil Company is seeking a full-time temporary Customer Care Specialist in Quincy, WA. You will provide excellent customer service, manage phone inquiries, process payments, and support inventory and deliveries to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

  • Recent telephone/receptionist or customer service experience.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Stay calm under pressure and handle inquiries professionally.
  • Willing to be on-call on a rotating schedule after training.
  • Lift 30–50 lbs as needed.
  • Sit for long periods and work with minimal supervision.
  • Computer literacy with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in inventory management, month-end counts, and shipping/receiving to other plants.
  • Organize deliveries and coordinate with drivers and customers.
  • Answer and operate the phone system professionally.
  • Greet and assist walk-in customers and suppliers.
  • Data entry of delivery tickets and work orders; maintain records.
  • Perform clerical tasks: copying, printing, filing, sending/receiving documents.
  • Accept and process payments from customers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

About the Role

We are looking for a full-time temporary(3 months) Customer Care Specialist to be responsible for providing excellent customer service and maintaining a professional image as part of the company team.

You’ll report to the Plant Manager for our Quincy, WA location, focusing on these key responsibilities:

  • Assist in inventory management of products with month-end count, ordering, shipping and receiving to other plants and non-local customers.
  • Organize deliveries.
  • Smoothly answer and operate phone system, communicating with customers in a professional manner.
  • Greet and assist walk-in customers or suppliers in a professional manner.
  • Perform data entry of delivery tickets, work orders and other account information as needed.
  • Perform various clerical functions, including copying, printing, filing, sending/receiving/distributing documents.
  • Accept and process payments.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Experience
  • Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft products, and the ability to learn new programs.
  • Recent telephone/receptionist and or customer service experience.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Willing to be on-call on a rotating schedule once fully trained.
  • Ability to sit for long periods.
  • Ability to lift 30-50 lbs.
  • Work in moderate noise levels.
  • Work with minimum supervision.
