Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. in Brunswick, ME is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the friendly face of our service team, helping customers with rentals, equipment, and answers on the lot. You will use U-Scan tech to manage rentals and inventory, assist with hitch installations, and participate in ongoing U-Haul education.

Strong communication and a valid driver’s license are required; on-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with U-Haul products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot including checking fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
