Job summary

The Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a courteous clerk to support customer service at our Orland Park, IL location. You will bag groceries, assist customers with loading bags, and maintain clean aisles and shelves to ensure a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities include informing customers of specials, performing price checks, following safety procedures, and upholding food safety rules. This role offers on-site work and opportunities for growth within store operations.

Qualifications

• Retail experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger bags groceries at checkout for customers.
• Assist in removing merchandise from bottom of bascart for checkout.
• Offer to help customers load bags into their car.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and return items to shelves.
• Inform customers of grocery specials and perform price checks for cashiers.
• Reinforce safety programs and report unsafe conditions to management.
• Adhere to local, state and federal laws and company guidelines.
• Provide friendly, helpful service to create a welcoming store environment.
