Position Summary

Busey Customer Care Advisors serve as customer advocates, earning trust and loyalty through unparalleled service and support. As Customer Care is often the first point of contact for Busey customers, Advisors are responsible for assisting with a variety of banking inquiries and technical support for our digital products & services. Above all, Customer Care Advisors aim to strengthen our customers’ relationship with Busey, while providing efficient care.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Respond and provide timely follow-up to internal and external customers inquiries via phone, email and chat in a professional, efficient and service-focused manner.
  • Assist customers with account-related questions, including technical troubleshooting.
  • Resolve customer issues and concerns promptly, escalating complex issues to the appropriate department or supervisor, to ensure a high level of satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities for customers to strengthen their relationship with Busey, providing guidance and referrals for other products and services when appropriate.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to consistently advance skills and stay current with best practices.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of bank policies, procedures and regulatory requirements to maintain customer confidence and protect the bank.
Education & Experience

Knowledge of:

  • Various computer systems, mobile devices and banking software.
  • Busey’s digital offerings, products and services, is preferred.

Ability to:

  • Provide excellent customer service, remaining calm and composed even in high-pressure situations.
  • Leverage strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analyze and solve problems efficiently and accurately.
  • Manage multiple tasks efficiently with keen attention to detail.
  • Effectively manage time in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work both independently and as part of team.

Education and Training:

  • • Requires High School diploma or equivalent.
  • • Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a banking or financial institution is preferred.

Benefits and Compensation

Salary offered is based on factors, including but not limited to, the job duties, required qualifications and relevant experience, and local market trends. The role may be eligible for bonus or incentives based on company and individual performance.

(Base Pay Range: $18-$21/hour)
