Job summary

Haworth, Inc invites motivated students to join as a paid Customer Analytics Intern at our Holland, MI headquarters. You will work onsite in a collaborative environment with the Customer Operations team, analyzing customer data, building predictive insights, and evaluating survey platforms.

You'll join a cohort of around 50 interns for a 12‑week program, with exposure to real projects and the chance to interact with industry experts during NeoCon and other activities.

Qualifications

• Part‑time or full‑time college enrollment toward a Bachelor’s degree in AI, Data Science, Data Analytics or Statistics with at least a junior status by Fall 2027.
• Unrestricted right to work in the US is required for eligibility.
• Experience with data analytics and interest in customer data problems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to projects creating predictive analyses using customer data by examining key metrics.

Job Overview We are currently looking for a paid Customer Analytics Intern to join our team in Holland, MI. This position will be working onsite at the Haworth Corporate Headquarters.

The Customer Operations Department acts as the liaison between dealers and the manufacturing/shipping teams, ensuring that orders and schedules run smoothly. As an intern on this team, you will contribute to projects such as creating predictive analyses using customer data by examining key metrics, evaluating survey platforms, and applying machine learning techniques. This internship is ideal for someone who enjoys data-driven problem solving and utilizing innovative technologies. Get ready for an adventurous summer as a Haworth intern!

You’ll join a cohort of around 50 other dynamic interns for a 12‑week program packed with hands‑on learning. After a few weeks you’ll be attending NeoCon, the largest commercial design event in the world. There you will get an insider's look at all the latest industry trends and innovations. Throughout the summer you will dive into real projects that will give you a taste of what it's like to work in a leading business and manufacturing environment.

Each week brings new experiences as a group. Sharpen your skills with interactive workshops on networking, public speaking, and using AI tools in a business environment. Connect with mentors and see all areas of the office and manufacturing processes. Then unwind at intern‑only social events where you can meet people from all corners of the business. By the end of the summer, you’ll leave with real skills, an expanded professional network, and memories to last a lifetime. This is your chance to take your career to new heights!

Required Qualifications

• Part‑time or full‑time college enrollment, working towards a Bachelor’s degree in AI, Data Science, Data Analytics or Statistics with at least a junior level status by Fall of 2027.
• Ability to work onsite in Holland, MI from May 2027 to August 2027.
• Applicant must possess an unrestricted right to work in the US to be eligible for the position.

Preferred Qualifications

• Overall GPA of 2.95 or higher.
• Business Analytics tools experience.
• Excel experience.
• Previous internship experience.
• Extracurricular activity experience such as athletics, clubs, volunteer work, etc.

Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following

• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Working knowledge of personal computers, spreadsheet applications and keyboard skills.
• Desire to learn, question, and research solutions to problems.
• Organized with the ability to manage deadlines.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
