Job summary

ImageFIRST in Peoria, IL, is seeking a route-based sales professional to grow and sustain our medical facility client base. You will promote our linen services, manage routes, and maximize contract terms through proactive renewal and upsell opportunities.

You’ll build strong customer relationships, handle sales administration, and ensure timely delivery of products while meeting safety and DOT requirements. The role offers competitive base pay with weekly payroll and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in sales or route sales.
• Valid DOT medical certification or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds frequently.
• Driver’s license with excellent driving record.

Responsibilities

• Promote ImageFIRST values and build strong customer relationships with associates, customers, and community.
• Maintain customer relationships; handle sales admin; resolve concerns; maximize contract term.
• Manage route to maximize efficiency, productivity and revenue; operate equipment safely.
• Sell additional products and services; meet or exceed sales objectives.
• Load truck, organize routes, prepare invoices, and maintain route books.
• Unload truck, check-in, weigh carts, and ensure accurate paperwork.
• Maintain railings, racks, bags and posters; ensure neat account appearance.
• Communicate repairs and maintenance needs for trucks; coordinate PMs.
• Prepare work orders; ensure invoice accuracy and manage credits/collections.

This is a route-based service-oriented position requiring the employee to establish, maintain, and build strong customer relationships through responsive and creative sales and service strategies. To grow existing customer business through sales and retention programs, to provide prompt, effective solutions to customer needs, to maximize route revenue through improved time management and upgraded product mix, to maximize contract terms by identifying changes in programs that require updated paperwork, and to be ImageFIRST’s “face” to our customers and potential customers.

This is a salary based position with a pay range of $57,000 to $85,000

Base pay is calculated on a 13-week average of route volume

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support Promote our values and the ImageFIRST way to build the company by positively impacting the lives of our associates, customers and community
• Customer Relationships Handle all administrative aspects of sales, identify and resolve customer concerns, ensure customer satisfaction with company products and services, develop positive relationships with principal customer contacts, maintain enthusiastic and professional attitude and maximize customer contract term
• Route Manage route to maximize efficiency, productivity and revenue operate company equipment safely and responsibly, comply with applicable rules and regulations relating to safety and operation of commercial motor vehicles
• Sales Increase account revenue by selling additional products and services, successfully complete sales programs, develop and implement strategies to identify new business opportunities. Meet or exceed sales objectives
• Load truck organization, night before service, invoices, check rails, count-by-man, linen control sheet, maintain route books
• Unload Truck check-in, empty soil carts, weigh carts
• Account appearance organization of rails, hanger racks, plastic, wet bags, posters and repaid bags
• Truck Maintenance timely communication of repairs, PM, accidents
• Paperwork work order preparation and follow-up, invoice accuracy, credits, collection requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 3 years of experience within sales or a route sales role
• Must possess a valid DOT (Department of Transportation) medical certification or obtain one within a designated timeframe.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds on a frequent basis
• Ability to drive commercial motor vehicle for up to 10 hours daily
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License and Excellent Driving Record
