The hourly range for this position is $12.25 to $13.00. This position is also eligible for incentive pay based on performance.

Customer Accounts Advisor

Aaron’s Customer Account Advisors serve as coaches to our customers, driving payment collections and lease agreement renewals by understanding lease agreement benefits and ensuring customers are 100% satisfied with the product. As a Customer Account Advisor, you will build relationships with customers over the phone and face-to-face to help bring them closer to ownership.

The Work

  1. Maintain and update customer accounts in the store system, documenting all payment appointments.
  2. Contact customers who haven't renewed their lease agreements via home visits and phone calls.
  3. Promote benefits of timely lease payments to customers.
  4. Assist in setting and achieving revenue and renewal goals.
  5. Support merchandise returns and guest deliveries as directed.
  6. Ensure returned items are cleaned and certified in the Quality Assurance Center.
  7. Complete weekly vehicle maintenance and route sheets daily.
  8. Load, secure, and protect products in the company vehicle.
  9. Operate the company vehicle safely.
  10. Support the Sales Team as needed.
  11. Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old in the U.S. with a valid driver’s license and meet company driver qualification standards; in Canada, at least 18 years old.
  • Meet DOT certification requirements in applicable states.
  • Availability to work hours between 8 am and 9 pm.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unaided and up to 300 lbs. with assistance.
  • Preferred: two years of retail/customer service experience.
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High energy and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Proper telephone etiquette.
  • Uphold Aaron’s brand and protect company assets.
  • Maintain a professional appearance.
  • Proficient computer skills.
