Customer Accounts Advisor

Hiring Range Minimum to Maximum: $12.75 - $13.50

This position is also eligible for incentive pay based on performance.

Aaron’s Customer Account Advisors serve as coaches to our customers, driving payment collections and lease agreement renewals by understanding lease agreement benefits and ensuring customer satisfaction. As a Customer Account Advisor, you will build relationships with customers over the phone and face-to-face to help bring them closer to ownership.

The Work
  • Maintain and update customer accounts, including recording all payment appointments.
  • Contact customers who have not renewed their lease agreements, via home visits and phone calls.
  • Promote the benefits of timely lease agreement renewals.
  • Assist the Customer Account Manager in meeting revenue and renewal targets.
  • Support merchandise returns and guest deliveries as directed.
  • Certify merchandise in the Quality Assurance Center for returned items.
  • Keep weekly vehicle maintenance and route sheets updated daily.
  • Load, secure, and protect products in the company vehicle.
  • Operate company vehicle safely.
  • Assist the Sales Team as needed.
  • Perform any other duties reasonably requested by management.
Requirements
  • At least 21 years old in the U.S. with a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record; in Canada, at least 18 years old.
  • Meet DOT certification requirements in applicable states.
  • Ability to work hours from 8 am to 9 pm.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted and up to 300 lbs. with a dolly.
  • Preferred: Two years of retail/customer service experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High energy and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Proper telephone etiquette.
  • Uphold the Aaron’s brand and protect company assets.
  • Maintain a professional appearance.
  • Proficient computer skills.
