Job description

Customer Accounts Advisor

Hiring Range Minimum to Maximum: $12.25 - $13.00

This position is also eligible for incentive pay based on performance.

Aaron’s Customer Account Advisors serve as coaches to our customers, driving payment collections and lease agreement renewals by understanding lease agreement benefits and ensuring customer satisfaction. As a Customer Account Advisor, you will build relationships with customers over the phone and face-to-face to help bring them closer to ownership.

The Work
  • Maintain and update customer accounts, including documenting all customer payment appointments.
  • Contact customers who have not renewed their lease agreements, through home visits and phone calls.
  • Promote the benefits of timely lease agreement renewal payments.
  • Assist the Customer Account Manager in achieving revenue and renewal goals.
  • Help with merchandise returns and guest deliveries as directed.
  • Clean and certify merchandise in the Quality Assurance Center.
  • Complete weekly vehicle maintenance and route sheets.
  • Load, secure, and protect products in the company vehicle.
  • Operate the company vehicle safely.
  • Assist the Sales Team as needed.
  • Perform any reasonable duties requested by management.
Requirements
  • At least 21 years old in the U.S. with a valid driver’s license and compliance with company policies, including a satisfactory MVR; in Canada, at least 18 years old.
  • Meet DOT requirements for certification in applicable states (U.S.).
  • Ability to work flexible hours from 8 am to 9 pm.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unaided and up to 300 lbs. with assistance.
  • Preferred: Two years of retail/customer service experience.
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High energy with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Proper telephone etiquette.
  • Uphold the Aaron’s brand and protect company assets.
  • Maintain a professional appearance.
  • Proficient computer skills.
