Job summary

Majestic Plastics is seeking a well-rounded Customer Accounts professional to support assigned customer accounts by processing orders, coordinating shipments, and handling inquiries. You will work with Purchasing, production, warehouse, quality, and accounting to ensure accurate order fulfillment and timely communication, and provide purchasing support as needed.

Responsibilities

• Enter customer orders, releases, forecasts, and approved changes into ERP or designated systems.
• Provide order acknowledgments and communicate status, schedules, delays, and changes to customers.
• Coordinate with production and warehouse to meet delivery requirements and address scheduling conflicts.
• Prepare and verify shipping paperwork, packing lists, bills of lading, labels, and customer documents.
• Schedule shipments and pickups with approved transportation companies.
• Document customer concerns and coordinate resolutions with relevant teams.
• Create purchase orders for approved materials or services and obtain approvals.

Majestic Plastics is an employee-owned injection molding company.We specialize in injection molding, ultrasonic welding, and assembly work. As a smaller manufacturing business of approximately 140 employees, we are looking for a well-rounded Customer Accounts professional.

Position Summary

Support assigned customer accounts by processing orders, coordinating shipments, preparing shipping documents, and responding to customer inquiries. Work closely with the Purchasing Manager, production, warehouse, quality, and accounting teams to support accurate order fulfillment and timely customer communication. Provide purchasing support as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter customer orders, releases, forecasts, and approved changes into ERP System or other designated systems.
• Provide order acknowledgments and communicate order status, shipment schedules, delays, and changes to customers.
• Coordinate with production and warehouse personnel to support customer delivery requirements and identify potential shortages or scheduling conflicts.
• Prepare and verify shipping paperwork, including packing lists, bills of landing, labels, and customer-required documents.
• Schedule shipments and pickups with approved transportation companies.
• Document customer concerns and coordinate resolution with appropriate personnel.
• Create purchase orders for approved materials, supplies, or services as assigned. Verify order information, obtain required approvals.

Ideal Candidate

• Hands-on, practical, and comfortable working in both office and manufacturing environments.
• High school diploma or equivalent; related education or experience in customer service, order entry, shipping coordination, or purchasing preferred but not required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and accurate data entry skills.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and business systems; Plex or other ERP experience preferred.
• Ability to work professionally with customers, vendors, transportation companies, and internal teams.
