Summary

The Customer Account Representative manages customer accounts through processing new referrals, ongoing follow-up, report management, and customer service. Assists in identifying and recruiting qualified on-site assessors.

Responsibilities

• Process new referrals from customers by referring to appropriate field subcontractors.
• Manage the progress of subcontractor assignments and ensure timely completion of work.
• Provide telephonic follow-ups on active clients as needed.
• Handle telephonic customer service for account and field calls related to other accounts.
• Monitor active clients within accounts to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Retrieve, file, and communicate medical information for accounts as needed.
• Respond promptly and courteously to customer inquiries.
• Assist other departments as needed and maintain productivity and quality standards.
• Use appropriate resources for accurate information.
• Immediately recognize and communicate problems/issues for rapid resolution.
• Uphold confidentiality standards per LTS and HIPAA regulations.
• Participate in Quality Improvement activities.
• Attend staff meetings and educational programs as directed.
• Perform duties as assigned by the manager.

Education and Experience

• College degree preferred.
• Typing and transcription skills.
• Computer literacy.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Customer service awareness.
• Organized, well-spoken, polite, team-oriented, patient, and adaptable.
