Job summary

Custom Solutions Production Technician is seeking a Custom Assembly Technician to join their team in Indianapolis, IN. You will be part of the Production team supporting custom and one-off builds, with strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read technical drawings and basic CAD.

On-site schedule 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, Monday–Friday, with training provided for specialized equipment including CNC tube-bending.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand tools.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately and work to tight tolerances.
• Ability to interpret 2D technical prints and basic 3D CAD models.
• Attention to detail and willingness to collaborate in a shop.

Responsibilities

• Assemble custom fluid and gas system solutions using mechanical judgment.
• Read and interpret 2D drawings and 3D CAD models for dimensions and assembly.
• Fabricate and assemble tubing and mechanical components with wrenches and tube benders.
• Perform pressure testing and helium leak testing to verify system integrity.
• Troubleshoot discrepancies while following quality and safety procedures.

Our client, Custom Solutions Production Technician is seeking a Custom Assembly Technician to join their team. As a Custom Assembly Technician, you will be part of the Production team supporting custom and one-off builds. What's the Job?

• Assemble custom fluid and gas system solutions using mechanical judgment and hands‑on fabrication skills
• Read and interpret 2D technical drawings and 3D CAD models to determine dimensions, components, fit, and assembly requirements
• Measure, fabricate, and assemble tubing and mechanical components using tools such as wrenches, sockets, tube benders, cold saws, and facing tools
• Perform pressure testing and helium leak testing to verify system integrity
• Troubleshoot and adapt when components or drawings don’t align, while following quality and safety procedures
