Job summary

L&H Companies is seeking a full-time Custom Metal Fabricator in Reading. The role focuses on metal forming, welding, and fitting of sheet aluminum, tube, and angle based on blueprints and specs.

Responsibilities include fabricating to drawings, using brakes, shears, grinders and welders, and maintaining safety and inventory procedures. Strong organizational and communication skills are required for team success.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of industrial materials.
• Ability to adhere to inventory protocols and procedures.
• Welding certification preferred.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and stand/squat as needed.

Responsibilities

• Follow blueprints and diagrams to fabricate and assemble structural products.
• Form and weld metal, including sheet aluminum, tube, and angle.
• Build and assemble listed materials and determine required materials from drawings.
• Notify management of material needs and maintain workplace organization.
• Maintain safety and participate in team duties as required.
