Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an experienced press brake operator and sheet metal mechanic to read prints, set up machines, and lead fabrication work in a small 6–8 person shop. Much of the work is laser-cut; programming is beneficial but not required.

• Reads prints and sets up machines to fabricate sheet metal parts.
• Operates press brake; performs basic troubleshooting and setup.
• Ability to read blueprints and tolerances for precision parts.
• Leads a small job-shop team and coordinates workflow as needed.
• Laser programming experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret prints and setup press brake equipment.
• Operate press brake to form precision sheet metal parts.
• Fabricate and assemble metal components per drawings.
• Mentor junior operators and ensure safety and quality standards.

Looking for an experienced press brake operator / sheet metal mechanic that can read prints and set up machines. Majority of the parts are cut on a laser so programming is a plus but not a must. We are a job shop so our types of work can vary from precision parts to ornamental/architectural. We are a small shop with 6-8 employees and I'm looking for a lead mechanic/fabricator/ press brake operator. We work four, ten hr days Mon-Thurs so every weekend is a long weekend.
