Vassar & Company Properties is seeking experienced Custom Home Builders for ground-up construction across our Tampa Bay portfolio. This on-site, 1099 contractor role offers flexible, project-based scheduling and assignments based on scope and timelines.

Responsibilities include managing full-cycle construction, coordinating subcontractors, ensuring code compliance, and maintaining safety and quality. A valid FL GC license, driver’s license, and proven experience are required.

Qualifications

• Valid General Contractor or Residential Builder license (State of Florida)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Proven experience building custom homes from ground-up construction to completion
• Strong knowledge of residential construction, permitting, and local building codes
• Ability to manage full project lifecycle (planning, budgeting, execution)

About the Role

We are seeking experienced Custom Home Builders to support ground-up construction and development projects across our portfolio.

This is a 1099 contractor role offering flexible, project-based scheduling. Projects are assigned based on scope, timelines, and development needs, allowing you to take on work that aligns with your availability and capacity.

Requirements
