Job summary

Glaz Inc is looking for a Manufacturing Associate with glass experience to join their Santa Teresa, NM team. In this role, you will handle flat glass panes, operate fabrication machines, and ensure the quality of produced glass products.

Responsibilities

• Polish and finish glass products using various tools.
• Handle and organize glass panes onto machinery and racks.
• Fabricate glass panes based on customer specifications.
• Operate and maintain glass fabrication equipment.
• Inspect glass products for defects and sizing.

Skills

Position: Manufacturing Associate (Glass Experience Required)

Wage: $13.50 with 90 Day Evaluation & Pay Rate Change

Summary

Glaz-Tech is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented glass fabricator to contribute to our manufacturing process and deliver exceptional glass products at our Santa Teresa, NM locations. The position entails handling flat glass panes and operating fabrication machines, such as a polisher machine. These fabricated glass panes are used for shower doors, table tops, mirrors, etc. The glass fabricator will use a variety of tools, machinery, and protective gear to ensure product is produced safely and to the highest quality.

Responsibilities

• Polish and finish glass products using various tools and techniques
• Handle and organize glass panes onto machinery, storage racks, or transport carts
• Fabricate glass panes based on customer specifications and/or drawings
• Operate and maintain glass fabrication equipment, including polishing machines
• Inspect glass products for defects and correct sizing

Requirements

• Ability to safely lift over 75 pounds frequently
• Must be able to read a tape measure down to 1/8” increments
• Ability to physically stand for 8 hours per day
• Ability to complete simple computer tasks
• Ability to communicate in English
• Background Check/Drug Screen
