Job summary

Michaels in Prince Frederick, MD is seeking a Store Associate to help customers find framing solutions and keep the shop welcoming and well merchandised. You will assist shoppers, build relationships, and support framing orders with care.

You’ll operate the register, stock shelves, and follow SOPs while ensuring safety and a clutter-free environment. Hours may include evenings/weekends; prior retail experience is helpful.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills.
• Ability to operate the framing equipment and glass cutter.
• Retail experience and selling products/services to customers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance to laws and requirements.
• Build relationships with customers while creating Custom Framing solutions and deliver sales results.
• Complete framing orders with high quality and on time.
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and other areas including stock replenishment.
• Deliver friendly customer service; help customers shop and find what they’re looking for.
• Operate cash register and cash handling to standards.
• Assist with Omni channel processes.
