Job summary

Michaels is seeking a store associate to support framing operations, customer service, and in-store merchandising at our Portage, MI location. You will handle framing orders, assist customers, and help maintain stocked, well-presented displays in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role requires basic computer and measuring skills, plus the ability to operate framing equipment and glass cut tools. Retail experience is preferred to help drive sales and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills.
• Ability to operate the framing equipment and glass cutter.
• Retail experience preferred and relevant.
• Experience selling products and services to customers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers find products; maintain a well-merchandised, in-stock store.
• Complete framing orders with high quality and on time.
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and related areas (SISO, replenishment).
• Assist with Omni channel processes and truck unload/stocking operations.
