Job summary

Michaels Stores in Crystal Lake, IL is seeking a store associate to build customer relationships and assist with framing solutions. You will help customers find products, process purchases at the cash register, and keep the store welcoming and well merchandised.

The role requires basic computer and measuring skills, ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter, and a willingness to work nights, weekends and early mornings. Prior retail experience is helpful and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate the framing equipment and glass cutter.
• Retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SOPs and company policies to ensure compliance and standards.
• Build relationships with customers while creating custom framing solutions and deliver sales results.
• Complete framing orders with high quality and on time.
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and other areas including replenishment.
• Deliver friendly customer service, help customers find products, and keep the store well merchandised.
• Operate cash register and handle cash to standards, assist with omnichannel processes.
• Participate in truck unload and stocking to meet standards and budget.
