Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in Sarasota, FL is looking for a store associate to help customers shop and create custom framing solutions. You will assist with framing orders, maintain a well merchandised, in-stock store, and provide friendly service in a safe environment.

Responsibilities include stocking, operating the cash register, supporting omnichannel processes, and upholding SOPs and safety standards. Night/early shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and a glass cutter.
• Retail experience is preferred.
• Experience selling products and/or services to customers.

Responsibilities

• Build customer relationships while creating custom framing solutions.
• Help customers shop and find what they’re looking for in-store.
• Provide a safe, clean and clutter-free environment.
• Complete framing orders with quality and on-time delivery.
• Operate cash register and handle cash to standards.
• Assist with Omni channel processes.
• Participate in truck unloading and stocking processes.
