Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in Matthews, NC is seeking a store associate to build customer relationships and provide framing solutions. You will assist customers, complete framing orders, and keep the frame department organized and in stock.

Responsibilities include operating the register, handling cash, and supporting Omni channel processes while delivering friendly customer service in a climate-controlled retail environment. This role may require nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills required.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter.
• Retail experience preferred or helpful.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers and help them find framing solutions.
• Complete framing orders accurately and on time.
• Maintain the frame department and stock, including replenishment.
• Operate the cash register and handle cash to standards.
• Support Omni channel processes and provide excellent in-store service.
