Job summary

Michaels STAFFORD store is seeking a customer-focused associate to assist customers in selecting custom framing solutions, operate the cash register, and maintain an organized, in-stock layout. You will build relationships with customers, ensure quality framing orders, and support omni-channel processes in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role requires basic computer and measuring skills, plus ability to operate framing equipment and a glass cutter.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required.
• Basic measuring skills required.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Experience selling products/services to customers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Help customers shop and find framing solutions; build relationships.
• Complete framing orders with quality and on time.
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and related areas.
• Provide friendly customer service and a well merchandised, in-stock store.
• Operate cash register and handle cash per standards.
• Assist with Omni channel processes.
