Job summary

Aerotek in Lockport, NY is hiring a Welder for 1st shift to support custom fabrication projects. Expect MIG/TIG welding, read blueprints, and inspect welds in a clean, on-site facility. Compensation is $30-$35 per hour with overtime opportunities as the company grows.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 2 years welding experience.
• Strong MIG and/or TIG welding skills.
• Blueprint reading experience required.
• Fabrication and fitting experience preferred.
• Pride in quality workmanship is essential.
• Pulse, Flux Core, pipe welding, or stainless experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• MIG, TIG, Pulse & Flux Core welding.
• Fabricate carbon steel and stainless steel components.
• Fit, cut, assemble, and weld custom equipment.
• Read blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Inspect welds and ensure quality standards.
• Work on unique projects for data center and industrial customers.
