Job summary

Skyline Displays is seeking a Custom Assembler II to complete medium size/scale custom woodworking and laminating projects. You will interpret blueprints and CAD drawings, operate CNC equipment, and work both independently and with a team to ensure high-quality results.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced wood fabrication environment, supporting other production areas as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years in a production or light assembly environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and CAD drawings.

Responsibilities

• Complete medium size/scale custom woodworking and laminating projects from blueprints and work orders.
• Perform simple CNC program changes, tool changes, and machine calibration.
• Collaborate with senior staff to resolve questions or issues on projects.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment and report larger issues.
• Record and dispose of scrap; maintain a clean, organized work area (5S).
• Assist other areas of Wood Fabrication as needed by the business.
• Support Skyline production as required.
