Job summary

SITU Fabrication, located in the Brooklyn Navy Yard, is seeking an experienced Fabricator. The role reports to the Director of Production and Lead Fabricators and collaborates with Project Managers to complete projects. Proficiency in a wide range of woodworking applications and standard shop machinery is required.

Experience with CNC fabrication and knowledge of multiple materials is a plus. On-site installation experience is valuable.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional experience in a woodshop/fabrication environment.
• Proficiency in operating a wide variety of woodworking machinery.
• Ability to read architectural drawings; Rhino 3D a plus.
• Experience with CNC fabrication and handcraft methods is a plus.
• On-site/installation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate standard woodshop machinery.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and report to Production Director/Lead Fabricators.
• Complete projects and ensure quality and accuracy.
