Redner's Warehouse Market in Wyomissing, PA is seeking a Cake Decorator to create visually appealing designs for birthdays, weddings, and holidays. You will work in the Bakery department under the Bakery Manager.

Responsibilities include decorating cakes, managing orders, maintaining cleanliness, and providing friendly customer service while ensuring accurate pricing and labeling. Experience decorating cakes is preferred; you must lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Strong communication to provide customer service.
• Dexterity to wrap, package, and decorate products.
• Ability to read and write to tag and price items.
• Previous experience decorating cakes.
• Lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Stand for most of the scheduled shift.

Responsibilities

• Maintain shelves and displays that are presentable and adequately filled.
• Control freshness by date coding all products and pulling out-of-code merchandise daily.
• Wrap, package, and price all products accurately and legibly.
• Maintain the sanitation program established by company policies.
• Provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Work with customers to create customized cake designs (colors, themes, messages).
• Manage multiple cake orders and ensure timely delivery, especially during peak seasons.
• Greet customers and be observant of surroundings.
• Abide by all company policies in the Employee Handbook.
• Answer customer calls and take special orders.
• Assist in baking products when needed.
