Responsibilities

• Keeps bakery department well stocked and appealing; greets customers and answers questions about products and cake preparation.
• Decorates cakes and other bakery products using designs or custom requests; uses creams, frostings and fillings with consistent outcome.
• Trims and cuts cakes to required shapes; applies icing between layers and tints icing colors as needed.
• Assists in filling and merchandising bakery sales area; maintains production logs and inventory levels.
• Maintains department sanitation; follows cleaning schedules and health/OSHA standards; uses PPE.
