Job Details

Position Overview

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter with at least 15 years of hands-on experience in high-end cabinetry and millwork. This role requires a well-rounded skill set, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capability to independently manage complex projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble high-end custom cabinets and millwork pieces with precision and attention to detail.
• Utilize layout and fabrication skills, including radius work and form building for bent laminations.
• Interpret and work from shop drawings, blueprints, and project specifications.
• Ensure proper understanding and application of angles and compound angles in custom woodwork.
• Apply expertise in integrated cabinetry and millwork to create seamless, high-quality installations.
• Solve complex design and fabrication challenges using creative problem-solving skills.
• Break down complex projects into manageable steps, effectively delegating tasks to helpers when necessary.
• Maintain the highest standards of craftsmanship and quality control throughout all phases of production.
• Operate both hand tools (must have your own set) and company-provided power tools efficiently and safely.
• Work collaboratively with designers, project managers, and other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Self-manage projects while meeting deadlines and exceeding client expectations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in high-end cabinetmaking, millwork, and woodworking.
• Strong understanding of angles, compound angles, and custom joinery techniques.
• Experience in radius work, bent laminations, and form building.
• Must possess a personal set of high-quality hand tools (power tools provided by the company).
• Ability to interpret and read shop drawings with precision.
• Skilled in problem-solving, troubleshooting, and innovative thinking.
• Ability to work independently while also leading or mentoring less experienced craftsmen when necessary.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring flawless craftsmanship and superior finishing.
