Job summary

Werner Electric Supply Company in Appleton, WI is seeking a Custom Assembly Teammate to complete Work Order Processing (WOP) and kitting orders per customer drawings. This role includes engraving, assembly, pre-fabrication, and wire processing as needed to deliver custom solutions in the electrical industry.

Hours are 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Compensation is $21/hr with a starting bonus of $1,000 and potential $2,400 annual bonus.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak, write, read, and comprehend instructions in English.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and convert units of measures.
• Work both in a team and solo environment with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Produce Work Orders according to BOM, drawings, and customer specs attached to WO.
• Maintain quality checks, inspections, testing, packing, and labeling to meet customer expectations.
• Punch in/out time and track time spent on each WO.
• Organize materials, keep the work area clean, and log/file WO.
• Operate tools and machines (wire processing, engraving, etc.) to process orders.
• Pack and ship orders and handle special labeling and kitting as needed.
• Receive completed orders into the system and route to proper locations.
