GRAINCO FS, Inc. is seeking a Custom Applicator/Operator in Illinois. You will apply fertilizers, crop protection products and lime, inspect fields, and operate and maintain equipment under supervision.

The role requires CDL and a commercial applicator’s license, and involves data recording and adherence to pesticide labels. Responsibilities include blending products, field application, inventory control, soil sampling, and equipment setup.

Qualifications

• Must have or be able to obtain a CDL and commercial applicator’s license.
• Ability to perform pre/post trip inspections and minor equipment maintenance.
• Strong time management and basic math skills including rate, ratio and percent.

Responsabilités

• Blend products according to rates and procedures.
• Apply crop production inputs and document data per regulations.
• Maintain inventory and processing records daily.
• Walk fields to detect weeds, insects or disease and record observations.
• Record soil sample information and analysis data.
• Set up and operate blending and application equipment; repair as needed.
