Neptune Township School District is seeking Custodians for the 2026-2027 school year. Successful candidates will complete a ninety (90) day probationary period and must obtain a Black Seal license within eighteen (18) months of hire.

Job Title: CUSTODIANS

Reports To: BuildingPrincipal/ Supervisor, or other administrator if needed

Salary Range: Candidates will be placed on guide according to qualifying experience ($48,234 - $69,584)

Position Summary: The above full-time positions are available for the 2026-2027 school year. Successful candidate(s) will serve a ninety (90) day probationary period and be required to obtain a Black Seal license within eighteen (18) months of hire.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: See attached Job Description

Technology Skills: Ability to be proficient in computer applications pertinent to support the position, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Google Suite, Frontline Applications, and Student Information System.

Evaluation of Performance: Performance of this position will be evaluated annually in accordance with the New Jersey Administrative Code and Board of Education policy.

Terms of Employment: 12 Month Contract. Salary and benefits as determined by the Board of Education and any applicable and collective negotiations agreement. See above for specific salary information.
